We went on Ryan’s sailboat for the first time tonight with Nick, Nora, and Ann. I think I have caught the sailing bug. Of course, it wouldn’t be hard to catch on a day like today and on Ryan’s boat. He just bought it from his friends family. Spartini (Ryan and his friend’s Dad (previous owner) went to Michigan State) is a 36′ Catalina that he grew up sailing on. The views of the city from a sailboat are amazing. To top it off, Ryan has one of the best slips in Chicago. Spartini is right in front of Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park, in the row closest to the shore and 2nd off the channel that goes out to the lake. I’ll post pictures soon.
